Established in 1934,  Hellner is today one of the most  traditional and solid insurance brokerage in the country. In the hands of the Hellner family for three generations, it still keeps the same values brought by  its founder, Germany-born Heinz Hellner, without leaving aside the constant challenge  of lining up and remaining constantly updated with newest trends  and changes in this extremely competitive market.

Expertise is not necessarily found on computers or in books, but in people. In our case, we have 3 generations who have been heading up our operations. Hartwig Hellner, son of the founder, has been “breathing” the insurance market for more than 50 years. The Hellner grandchildren are totally immersed in the business. Karla is a graduate of medicine and oversees the area of benefits/services. Christian began his insurance career in Germany with Lloyds of London, the cradle of the insurance world. Together they represent more than 100 years of experience.


With partners on 5 continents, we are at home no matter what country or where we need to do global business outside Brazil. Expansion is important to our every day environment. At our office, we have a charming garden that includes plants from the Brazilian Atlantic seacoast that promotes oxygenated thinking – thinking out of the box – which inspires us to generate new solutions to existing and future situations for our clients
